Class & Material Culture

Through an examination of medieval archaeological remains and material culture, as well as literary and historical evidence, this course aims to provide an understanding of medieval men and women from the secular groups of medieval society: the warrior aristocracy, the urban middle and lower classes, and the rural peasantry. Prerequisites: Registration status: senior student.
